Trumpeter swans! A farmhouse that was spooky even at 10 AM The highway got grassy...what kind of cowpath was this? Worst fears confirmed Things in the road (Forest Service Route 100) The "highway" went on and on There were odd sights such as this red lichen Finally we got to Virginia City It was about 1862 Facades made the town look bigger But it was small Hollyhocks brightened the scene We took the stagecoach pulled by Dawn & Duke Later we drove down out of Montana Beside a river, we stopped to hike up The edge at the top intimidated me The next day we set out before dawn Morning thermals Z on the edge Another active geyser Mudhole bubbling...blurp! Hotsprings erping A wolf in the education center. Wolves were reintroduced in 1995.
